Methodology

The Peptide Critic compares vendor offers using normalized peptide, variant, and shipping fields so rows can be evaluated side-by-side.

1. Source ingestion: offer and coupon data is collected from curated vendor sources and scraper runs.
2. Normalization: labels and sizes are standardized, and price-per-mg is computed from total milligrams per variant.
3. Ranking: offer rows are sorted primarily by estimated landed cost, then by base price and vendor slug.
4. Refresh cadence: data can lag live vendor pricing. Each row includes a last-checked timestamp to make freshness explicit.
